In 2008, Holy Cross Primary School celebrated 50 years of Catholic education in the Parish now known as Sugarloaf.
The school was founded by the Sisters of Mercy. Inspired by their founder, Catherine McAuley, the Sisters are compelled by God's spirit and their tradition to bring about a more just and compassionate world.
The spirit of the Sisters of Mercy is still evident in the school's commitment to justice for all people.
